If your looking for a direct sequel to the original Lost Boys, this isn't it. It picks up many years later in a new town with some annoying surfer vamps. Cool cameo in the beginning with Tom Savini though. About half an hour into the movie we finally get introduced to Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman) , the only returning character. What happened to his brother? It only hints at first. (In the bonus features we find out he's a vamp) It's basically the same old story. Kids move to new town, hang out with vamps and get turned. Try to fight it and kill the head vampire so they can be normal again. Edgar comes in shows them some comics and saves the day. The real story that we wanted to see starts at the end. Sam (Corey Haim) returns and he's a vamp. Him and Edgar battle it out... but we only get to see the very beginning of the fight, then it's more credits. Can't wait for part three!

Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay - DVD - Angled Doors Review
Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay picks up where the original (Go to White Castle) left off. Harold decides he can't wait the ten days for the love of his life to get back from Amsterdam, so they pack up and head off to the airport. Kumar sneaks weed onto the plane gets mistaken for a terrorist (they think his bong is a bomb) and that's when the adventure begins. This time around they get shipped off to a prison, escape and deal with inbred rednecks, Ku Klux Klan and more as they are on the run. I don't want to give any of it away, but there are plenty of laughs to go around from start to finish.

Devil May Cry 4: Collector's Edition - X-Box 360 Game - Angled Doors Review
Cocky anime characters with big guns and bad-ass swords. This entry in the series brings a new character, Nero. A lot like Dante, but the cool thing about this character is his "Devil Bringer" arm. Fan's of Dante need not worry though. You get to play as both characters throughout the game. This collector's edition came in a "steelbook" metal case with a bonus dvd that included a "making of" documentary and a few other extras, plus a copy of ADV Film's Devil May Cry: The Animated Series Disc 1 on DVD. This has the first 4 episodes of the awesome anime series.

This Movie was Terrible. I don't care if you consider yourself a Horror fan or not, Paranormal Activity 2 is nothing more than another way for Hollywood to jack your cash.
Despite the obvious ass kissing from USA Today, and Entertainment Weekly PA2 is a complete let down and should be burned. Save your money folks, because this movie is a not worth your cash.
As with any low budget sequel you almost expect it to fail, and fail it did. It took almost a solid hour for ANYTHING to happen. Yeah, yeah, the spooooooky thumps are there, but where is the creepiness from the first movie? In PA1 we were treated to tons of stuff going on at night throughout the movie. With PA2 we are forced to sit through a dull and very slow start. There were more scenes in daylight than there were at night.
What really chapped my ass was the "prequel" pitch. OOOOOOOOOO so Katie is in this one. Big Fu*king deal. Must be nice to go back and make it seem like Katie and her husbands demise coincide with the "new" haunting from what seems to be the same demon. Lame. What was also lame was the amount of time spent trying to set up any sort of story. At one point the teenage daughter is talking with dad about the possibility of a ghost, and suggests it might be her mom. WTF?!?! so the woman that just had the baby isn't her real mom?!?!?! Ugh..
Before I go on let me at least tell you about the "story" After experiencing what they think are a series of "break-ins", a family sets up security cameras around their home, only to realize that the events unfolding before them are more sinister than they seem.
Don't buy into this load of Garbage. Like I said, the scares were waaaaay weaker than the first, the story is so far fetched and rushed I swore it was wrote by a 1,000 angry tweeters, and to be honest, it shouldn't have been rated R. I can understand the need to at least see PA2 and rate it to the first one, but if you can pirate a copy and save some money do that instead.
Overall this was not worth the price of admission and should be removed from the Theaters before it makes more people feel cheated.

Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)

This movie was terrible. Why bother anymore? The last Resident Evil was such a slap in the face of gamers it should have been burned. Now, years later some idiot thought it would be cute to revamp the dead horse, but this time in 3D. Everything about RE4 was wrong. the acting was a joke, the story was a complete rip off of Escape from NY, and having not one man in on the good action was not only very sexist, but beyond cheesy.
What i hated about RE4 most was the inconsistencies and blatant rip off of other movies. Case In Point #1: Early on in the film Alice loses her powers and thanks Wesker ( a terrible Shawn Roberts looking like a white morpheus ) for turning her human again, only to crash the aircraft into the side of a mountain, and walk away unhurt. I call bullshit on that. Case In Point #2: After ripping off Escape from New York and the Matrix, we the viewers are treated to Alice loading a pair of shotguns with quarters. Next we see alice with the shotguns on her back running through a zombie gauntlet and then pull the shotguns and fire them without a single quarter falling out of the barrel while she pulled them. Bullshit again.
I won't even comment on the acting. OK I will, but only to point out how terrible it was.......
Alice: Totally Pathetic attempt at any sort of action hero.
Claire: Yeah who was the idiot who gave Ali Larter this role?!?! Hey Ali, note to self: Stop trying to pass as any sort of actor/actress cause that boat left looooong ago
Chris: Channing Tatum called and wants his look and style back.
Shawn Roberts: Nice touch on ripping of the Matrix and making Morpheus white.
It also must be said that the production sets looked like they were bought wholesale at the "Look Futuristic" store, because everything about them was a total visual abortion. Oh, and did i mention how much the Matrix was ripped off? Every damn thing that the matrix did in 3 movies, this piece of shit tried to do in one. Oh I am so sorry. My friend pointed out that they also ripped of blade 2. See? Even a guy not in this f'd up industry can see garbage when he see's it.
The zombies were almost not in the movie. It took almost an hour from the first on screen zombie attack to the next. Even then the zombies were tiresome and totally contrived. I felt it looked like somebody fudged on the budget and decided to make all of the dead people look the same. I mean, isn't this the balls of the franchise? zombies? So why take the only remaining good thing about this muck, and not hype that up?
Last thing I'm gonna say is even the decent 3D couldn't save this film. I really liked the 3D, but kept getting distracted by the stop and start motion rip off ala matrix. Do yourself a favor, ignore this movie.

This movie fucking sucked. Everything about it was a goddamn Joke. The acting, The kills, The audience, fucking everything. It was like babysitting 219 EMO kids who couldn't stop txting and running around. The whole scene was a disgrace to moviegoers and so was the film itself. I can't fucking fathom why some retard would make another FD, when the last one was a total fucking bomb. At least H2 had Zombie to back it up, but what does this horseshit have? Lame actors with terrible acting skills, cheesy fx, and downright stupid kills. The writting on this was a cross between a blind person with the heroin shakes, and a transgender weatherman. IT MADE NO FUCKING SENSE!!!!!!! OK so this time, we're at a racetrack (yeah I know) and BOOM! same fucking plot as the last 3, but this time they have a person who can guide the survivors to a possible second chance...no shit. Just like the other 3, people die, the crowd cheers, people txt friends 4 seats away, and everybody leaves happy. Not me. How the fuck can people just write this movie off as "well at least they got what they want" who is they? The fucking tweens who sneek into movies and ruin it for everybody? Or is it the crowd who bash on H2 but turn around and hail this as a breath of fresh air?!?!?! Look folks, if you like the FD franchise then you might like this one, but if you want to see something that might make you think, then stay away from this shitbag.

If you like ANYTHING Rob has done (music, movies, art,) then you will like this movie. However, if you want something Epic and cutting edge, well............fuck off and go home.
H2 appeals to the side of you that craves violence and unrest. I watched this movie Twice and left both times grinning ear to ear hearing people complain "what was that?" "OMG that was just too much", "fucking lame man", "DUDE LETS SMOKE A BOWL", "what was with the White Horse?!?!", and so on. These were real comments from movie goers.
I felt the movie was everything one can expect from Rob, but also felt that as a whole most movie goers have become too snotty for their own good. It's these uptight pricks that ruin movies for everybody else. Have you ever been dying to see a movie, and then have some nitwit walk by you and yell out "THIS MOVIE SUCKS"? Well if you have, those folks hated it, but people like me, and you the reader, will really dig this flick............Our story takes place 1 year later. Lori (Taylor-Compton) is an emotional wreck who now resides with Sheriff Brackett and his Daughter Annie (Douriff,Harris) who also survived Michael's wrath, and has some nasty nightmares. As expected Michael returns in a violent and Bloody fashion, displaying a much more nastier side of MM that we have ever seen before. The film at times takes a break and shows MM mom Deborah Myers (Moon Zombie) in spirit form talking to Michael. This new twist is what I think throws people off. Anytime you put Psychosis into a movie and try not to be too cheesy, people laugh it off, or complain about it. For H2, it seemed that most of the folks didn't understand what was going on, but maybe if "they" could stop fucking texting, talking, or running around the theater, then maybe "they" would understand what was fucking going on..........So as Micheal walks back to Haddonfield, killing people along the way Dr. Loomis happens to be in town pushing his new book "The Devil Walks Among Us". Throughout the movie Loomis (McDowell) comes of as an English Snarky Prick (which he has become) cashing in on the fame while trying to seem empathetic to the families involved. I really like how Malcolm McDowell turned Dr. Loomis into a total asshole who deserves to die. There is on scene where Dr. Loomis runs into a nasty situation and yells to Sheriff Brackett "let me do this!! I owe you that" Considering what kind off hell Loomis caused everybody, it seemed fitting. Gone is the original panic and pain to the original Loomis, make way for a more real typical nowadays shrink........... As you can guess, lots of blood and nasty gore takes place, but there was something a little more uneasy. That would be Michael Myers. In case none of you read Rob Z's interview about H2, Rob stated that this was not a remake of Halloween 2, but something totally different. With Michael Myers he nailed it. MM is now more menacing than before, much, much, MUCH, more violent with the kills. Watching MM stab with such force and hatred made me uneasy. Also we hear MM grunt and groan when he kills or destroys walls or windows. I was hated these movies where the killer never made a sound when he killed or, broke shit. Not here though. It adds a certain feel that I can't explain. it was very violent, but yet almost human like. The biggest thing about Michael was his size. You really didn't see much of it in the first one, other than the Mental Institute. Here though, we See Tyler Mane Looming over everybody and destroying people at will like a man of his size would do............Look guys I could go on and on about this movie so let me just say this, If you want a Good movie with lots of violence, and disturbing Images, then go see this...

Another Harry Potter movie. This is his 6th year at Hogwarts. As usual the school year starts out with some shit going down and hte headmaster pulls him in and fills his head with some shit about him being the chosen one.
Once at school he finds a book once owned by the mysterious "Half Blood Prince" filled in with lots of hand-written notes that make Harry into the little bad-ass. Shit happens, evil comes, someone dies, etc, etc.
All in all, it's a fun movie. The whole series is great, don't get me wrong. It just seems that after so much time you would hope for a twist somewhere... instead we get everything we expect. Which is nice... but I want more. You know what to expect and that kind of takes away from the fun of the movie. I hope for some big changes in the series future.

OK so here is the plot line for any being that never saw Transformers.
Decepticon forces return to Earth on a mission to take Sam Witwicky prisoner, after the young hero learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers.
Yeah. Thats all we really need to know. So before I give my review let me say this, If you are a fan of the Cartoon and want some sort of dignity left to the show.....you will not like this movie. If you loved the first movie and really don't what people think or say, THEN GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!
Our story picks up a year or so from the last movie. Autobots are looking for rogue Decepticons and are teamed with the US Military, oh and we the people are supposed to not know that there is a war on our planet, or that transformers don't exist. That was the first thing wrong with this movie. Tha last battle was in Downtown LA and yet nobody knew about it?!?! OK so the frigging MIB flasher thinggy us all, and now we don't remember? Lame.
As we get into the movie we reunite with Sam and his family as the big guy gets ready for the college journey. First off the language and uneasy feel from the family was awesome. When I was attending this showing there were a lot of children with reviewer parents. To hear the Mom say Shit like 3 times in 10 minutes was epic! Considering the movie. So after a lame scene with megan fox and her famous bad acting, we see a sliver of the cube fall out of Sams stuff and make sam hinky.
The Next 45 minutes of footage was what kept me in my seat. I won't go into details, but I will say that A Mom eating pot brownies, Ethnic Transformers, Megatron, and tons of humans dying was what i didn't expect from a Transformers sequel. The whole movie as a working unit was awesome. The special fx were what you would expect and at times much more. Time after time the movie kept switching from a kids movie to one for mom and dad, which also lead to Sam not coming accross as a bitch in the first movie.
Thats all I'm going to say for a basic review. Lots of BOOM and BANG, and a decent story plot. Also, the hardcore fans might like the Optimus Prime death, but get pissed at the last 10 minutes of the movie. I would've given this a better review, but everybody in the free world has done a review on this movie so lemme clear up some FAQ's
1. Does Prime die? Yes. and is brought back in the ending.
2. Is there a transfomer(s) that are racist? Depends on what you consider racist these days? To make fun of somebody based on race is racist, to give a transformer floppy ears and a gold tooth and talk like a street hoodlum is NOT racist. Dude, we had a car named Jazz talk gangsta in the first one. But thats Racist. What about Dr. Doolitle and the rats? Who were they bashing on?
3. Is there going to be a 3rd movie? Really? Yeah looks like it.
4. Was there a lot of cussing? Yeah for a PG 13 movie.

Terminator: Salvation (2009)

Yes I liked this movie. There I said it, now leave me alone. Yes we all know AH-NUHLD isn't the star, it's the 4th one, and it's PG-13. Just Be quit for a second and let
me explain. I at first was excited to see this movie. I love Christian Bales acting and the wife loves him naked with a chainsaw. C'mon what better "in shape" badass to play Connor Himself than Batman? I was also excited that AH-NULD was NOT going to be in this movie... Hello? he's getting old and flabby it would be like doing The Rocky Horror Picture Show again and having Tim Curry don the same outfit. That was then, and this is now.
Well, when I finished the movie I was left feeling that some actors should not have been in this movie...And I'll get to that.
in this being the 4th movie, we see the Cyberdyne machine come to life in all of it's horror....which i was kinda bummed that the movie takes place in 2018 AFTER Cyberdyne went fully auto. That kinda pissed me off, I mean for 3 fucking movies now we have been told of the END OF DAYS, and now we finally see what happened, but only AFTER, and not during.....Oh well... So here we are with John Connor Fully grown and being questioned about being the ONE.....Which would explain why he was just a higher up in The military and not the big boss..
So after some explosions and some death we learn that John Connor is just a soldier in Humanity's last breath of hope...yep. Oh and John Connor also broadcasts on the air to anybody who will listen, like an open letter for anybody to read. we also learn that john is going to be a dad. A part of the movie that should've been cut...all of it. Along comes the twist which made it interesting..
John only has the past 2 horrific run in's with Terminators, plus his moms audio diary to go on. I mean if i got chased not once but TWICE by futuristic Machines, I would be the same way. Christian Bale did a great job as a John Connor who knows the future but has to sell mankind on it. The scruffy look and tired eyes sold the horror and doom image that had to have taken a toll on john. At this point We learn that Kyle Reese must be found before cyberdyne can get him and take him to the human grinding factory in San Fran.
Kyle reese is in LA smashing T-600's in bonecrushing degrees, when we run into a guy by the name of Marcus Wright. yes Marcus appeared mud covered and Naked..Hint Hint...so after some amazing stunt work and big booms Marcus and Kyle head out of L.A. to find john Connor...along the way Blair Williams is saved by Marcus and now we have a group....so now with this story and John Connors it gets kinda sappy and lame.
So Kyle gets captured and Marcus gets himself captured by John....and you can almost guess the rest...Kinda......The movie really picks up steam when the jail break hits....
Now to the let down.. Bryce Dallas Howard. I hate when big studios put the wrong actors into roles like this. Look at Maggie G. in the Dark Knight, Great actor but NOT for the part of Miss Dawes. Same with Bryce, she is good, but not for this role. I felt she was a part of the drag areas of the movie. if it would've been some serious role or dramedy, then put her in it. I mean she did turn down Clerks 2, so why put her into T4? I did however, LOVE Anton Yelchin..... The snarl of Reese and the gritted teeth words...man Michael Biehn would be proud....So for Mr. Yelchin this summer has been a HUGE push for serious roles, and he deserves it.
And yes folks AH-NULD is in it, well at least his 25 year old face is;)
I enjoyed this movie and hope you all give it a chance..

Yes I liked this movie. There I said it, now leave me alone. Yes we all know AH-NUHLD isn't the star, it's the 4th one, and it's PG-13. Just Be quit for a second and let
me explain. I at first was excited to see this movie. I love Christian Bales acting and the wife loves him naked with a chainsaw. C'mon what better "in shape" badass to play Connor Himself than Batman? I was also excited that AH-NULD was NOT going to be in this movie... Hello? he's getting old and flabby it would be like doing The Rocky Horror Picture Show again and having Tim Curry don the same outfit. That was then, and this is now.
Well, when I finished the movie I was left feeling that some actors should not have been in this movie...And I'll get to that.
in this being the 4th movie, we see the Cyberdyne machine come to life in all of it's horror....which i was kinda bummed that the movie takes place in 2018 AFTER Cyberdyne went fully auto. That kinda pissed me off, I mean for 3 fucking movies now we have been told of the END OF DAYS, and now we finally see what happened, but only AFTER, and not during.....Oh well... So here we are with John Connor Fully grown and being questioned about being the ONE.....Which would explain why he was just a higher up in The military and not the big boss..
So after some explosions and some death we learn that John Connor is just a soldier in Humanity's last breath of hope...yep. Oh and John Connor also broadcasts on the air to anybody who will listen, like an open letter for anybody to read. we also learn that john is going to be a dad. A part of the movie that should've been cut...all of it. Along comes the twist which made it interesting..
John only has the past 2 horrific run in's with Terminators, plus his moms audio diary to go on. I mean if i got chased not once but TWICE by futuristic Machines, I would be the same way. Christian Bale did a great job as a John Connor who knows the future but has to sell mankind on it. The scruffy look and tired eyes sold the horror and doom image that had to have taken a toll on john. At this point We learn that Kyle Reese must be found before cyberdyne can get him and take him to the human grinding factory in San Fran.

Chev Chelios is back. Taking place about 3 months? after the first film we catch up to him as he is falling from a helicopter. Then someone steals his heart. He then sets out to get it back.
Quite absurd and unbelievable, but entertaining as all hell. This takes everything up a notch from the first Crank film. More sex, more violence, more everything. Cameos galore, so keep your eyes open. I'm going to have to see it a second time to try and spot everyone. It's everything you expect. Not as good as the first, but definitely more over the top. So it's still worth your hard earned cash.

Fast cars and such... really... that's the plot.
The original cast is back for the 4th installment of th franchise... really? Why not just say The Fast & The Furious 4? C'mon... 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Fast & The Furious... now just Fast & Furious. Pretty fucking lame. It's getting ridiculous, why is everyone afraid to call a sequel a sequel?
Anyway this one gets more absurd than the others... the original cast is back, One of them dies. Vin Diesel goes home and proves to everyone he's turned into some kind of superhuman. Catching car engines with a single hand, dodging bullets, etc. Wait... he got hit with a bullet once... didn't even flinch. Seriously? Lame.
At least this time around it had a few American muscle cars in it instead of these Tokyo drifters. I just don't see the appeal of these films. If you wanna see a bunch of pretty boys flying around in some silly looking cars then this is for you. Otherwise steer clear and go get some Bullit or Smokey & The Bandit for some real car chases.

Friday The 13th: Reviews for the remake, re-issues & more!
Friday the 13th (1980) - DVD Re-issue

This dvd re-issue ain't too much to be impressed by unless your a hardcore fan or a completist like me. It's the uncut edition, yet it's really only a few seconds of extra gore the casual viewer won't even notice. Some new extra features are added, and that's cool. Mostly interviews and convention panels. "The Lost Tales From Camp Blood" is pretty lame. I still give this a 5 *'s though because it is a great film. If you have never seen it, you should. One of the best slasher flicks made and it's not what you'd expect from the Friday the 13th series if you've only seen the later installments.

This isn't the fancy digital 3-D you get in theaters now, but how it was when I was a kid with cardboard glasses with the red and blue lenses. Notable fact about this film is it's the first one where Jason gets his hockey mask. I give this one a higher rating because I've waited a long time to get it in 3-D. Even if you own the boxed set, it's worth getting just because it is only 2-D in the set.

The films are not the best in the series and are far from my favorite, but they are still entertaining. Jason Goes To Hell features Jason getting blown up and then possesing different bodies, Jason X sends him ti space to become "Uber-Jason" and then Fredyy Vs. Jason gives the fanboys what we've wanted since we were kids... only somehow nowhere near as cool as we thought it would be. Can't beat it for the price though.
