Hey all! I just wanted to drop you a line about my new film Finger Bang! (I know what you're thinking but its about a guy who can shoot bullets out of his finger!) Anyhow, i just building awareness up for this project right now. I am using a site called Indiegogo.com that helps raise money for indie films such as Finger Bang! I'm trying to raise 10k in 40 days. I think we can do it. There is a bunch of info below including the link to find out more about the project and to donate. I know not everyone out there has money to dump into a film called Finger Bang! but if you could just help spread the word and help me build awareness for this, that would be great. Also, a portion of the proceeds of this film will go to help rescue dogs find homes that they desperately need. Our Story
Hello. I'm Creep Creepersin! I have made 35 films in the last 5 years. I write, direct, produce, act in, edit, shoot, score and distribute films. I have a proven track record of success. Finger Bang! is a dream of mine. I would really like this dream to come true on film.
Finger Bang! is a Superhero / action / comedy. It the story of Bruce, an out-of-shape, kind of geeky, kind of guy. The story starts off by this nerdy guy accidently killing his brand new (and first) girlfriend during their first intimate moment by a mysterious gunshot that he can't figure out where it came from. Noticing that his finger is smoking, he puts two and two together. Bruce can shoot bullets out of his fingers! Depressed, Bruce decides to take his own life until a wise old mage appears and mentors him and convinces him that this "deformity" is really a gift and that Bruce has a higher calling and most protect the world from villainy. Bruce AKA The Fingerbanger, must go up against who will soon be his nemesis, The Golden Fist! Can The Fingerbanger save the world from the evil power of Golden Fist's fist of gold?
The Impact
One thing that my campaign has that other's might not is that we already have distribution for this film. The film’s release date is January 24th, 2012. It will be released on DVD, VOD, PPV, iTunes, cable, satellite, digital download sites for both retail and rental. I have 10 films coming out this year and the ability to make any film and see it through completion. Another thing that makes this project great is that a portion of the proceeds from the film will go towards animal rescue in overcrowed animal shelters, something that my wife Nikki and I are strong supporters of with three rescue dogs of our own.
What We Need & What You Get
Perks are as follows:
$500 and over receives an IMDB credit / screen credit as Executive Producer of the film, a dinner with the cast, a set visit and copy of the film signed by the cast.
$100 - $499 receives an Associate Producer credit on screen and on imdb.com and a signed copy of the film.
Anything under $100 receives a Special Thanks credit on film and on IMDB.com.
The funding will go to locations, cast, special effects and mainly post production that will really make this very low budget film look amazing. If we do not meet our goal, we have connections with a fund matching resource that will help bring in more funding to make it possible to finish the film. No matter what, it will still be made or a film a lot like it will be made due to the fact that I have to release something on that date!
